Our clothes are conceived and developed in Paris, where each piece takes form through the hand of Charles Anastase, at a deliberate pace. Each garment is made individually, through a continuous process that joins conception and execution. This work does not begin from style, but from structure. Each piece is drawn from precise references, understood as frameworks through which the body can appear. Elements taken from workwear, domestic garments, or ceremonial dress are reconsidered not as images, but as constructions — ways of holding, guiding, or articulating the body in space. These references are not quoted. They are absorbed, displaced, and brought into a present use. What remains is their function: a clarity of line, a discipline of cut, a relationship between fabric and posture. The garment does not seek to transform. It does not produce a character or impose an identity. It establishes a measure — a frame through which the body becomes more legible to itself. What appears is not added, but revealed. Each piece exists at a scale where intention remains perceptible. Time is not erased; it is embedded in the making. The gesture is continuous, and the result carries its trace. These clothes propose a simple condition: to inhabit the body with precision, and to allow what is already there to stand.
